Best Gaming Processor Under ₹ 15000 or $200 in 2021

The processor or CPU is the brain of the computer system. And doesn’t matter how powerful GPU you get without a suitable CPU, the GPU will not be able to perform with its full potential. But on the other hand, investing an extra amount in the processor is also not advisable(as long as you don’t have a fixed budget) as it will limit your budget for GPU. And under ₹ 15000 or $200 you can get one of the best processors for gaming.

While for a gaming PC what matters most is the GPU and then the CPU. So in this List, I have included the best budget CPUs in 2020. And I have also recommended with what GPU you should use this CPU considering it will not bottleneck the GPU. I will advise using the recommended GPU or a lower-performing GPU, to avoid bottlenecking.

Now without ado let’s see the best processor under ₹ 15000 or $ 200 you can buy in 2020.

1) Intel i3 10105

Intel i3 10105 is the latest 10th gen CPU in the Core i3 lineup. It has 4 cores and 8 threads with a base clock of 3.70 GHz and a turbo up to 4.40 GHz. With a total cache of 6 MB Intel’s smart cache.

This is the best budget CPU for those who want good gaming performance on a low budget. As this is the latest CPU from Intel in the Core i3 lineup it does offer great performance considering its price segment.

In terms of gaming performance with a dedicated graphics card, i3 10105 can perform similar to the higher-priced last gen Core i5 9400f. It has a TDP of 65W which also makes it power efficient and money saver in the long run.

For GPU I will recommend using GTX 1660 super with this CPU or any cheaper and lower performing GPUs than the GTX 1660 Super. In this budget, the is one of the best gaming processor under 15000 or $200.

2) Ryzen 3 3300X

Ryzen 3 3300X is a 4 core 8 thread CPU with turbo speed up to 4.3 GHz. It has a massive 18 MB cache memory and is built with a highly efficient 7 nm process. 3300X also supports the PCIe 4.0 version that doubles the bandwidth of graphics as well as storage(if the motherboard supports it).

It’s the best CPU in under 15k in 2020 and offers high performance considering its budget. It has almost a similar gaming performance to the i5 9400f while in some games a little better. So considering its price to the performance, support of faster RAM, and support of PCIe 4th gen makes it the best processor under 15000 for gaming CPU.

You can easily use RTX 2060 Super or RTX 2060 Ti with this CPU without worrying about bottlenecking the GPU. Although I will not recommend doing so. Instead, I will recommend using GTX 2060 or a cheaper GPU with this CPU. And if you have a higher budget for the GPU then you should use the RTX 2060 super.

If you are going for a higher-performing GPU than the RTX 2060, in that case, it’s also better to go for a higher-performing CPU than this.

3) Core i5 9400F

Core i5 9400f is the 6 core 6 thread CPU with a base clock of 2.90 GHz with turbo up to 4.10 GHz. It has almost similar performance to the Ryzen 3 3300X but lags behind in Single-Core scores. That’s why in some games it shows slightly lower performance than the Ryzen 3 3300X.

But if you are into Virtual machines, Video editing, or Live streaming along with gaming then the Core i5 can be a better choice for you. As in such tasks, 2 extra cores can have a benefit and show some performance.

If your work requires higher cores, then the i5 9400f can be the better choice for you. And in terms of Gaming also a great CPU in this budget. But if you are not into any such fields and want only a high-performing gaming PC then the 3300X is a cheaper and better choice.

For GPUs, I will suggest using RTX 2060 or lower(but not the 1660 Ti as it has an almost similar performance like 1660 super but much higher cost than the 1660 Super). If you want to use a higher-performing GPU than this, then it’s better to also use a higher-performing CPU.

4) Ryzen 3100

Ryzen 3 3100 is a four-core 8 thread CPU with a base clock at 3.6 GHz and turbo up to 3.9 GHz. It has a total cache of 16 MB and also supports PCIe 4. Under 10k this is the best performing CPU for gaming and offers great value for money. While it also has features like PCIe 4 and hyperthreading. This is even mentioned in our list of best gaming processors under ₹ 10000.

If you are tight on budget then instead of purchasing a low-budget GPU and purchasing a high-performance CPU it’s better to purchase Ryzen 3 3100. Ryzen 3 3100 is a very well-performing CPU and can offer overall great gaming performance.

It’s a great CPU if you are building a budget gaming PC. We have used this CPU in our Best gaming PC build under 50k. This CPU is really a great CPU in its budget and offers great value for money. So if your budget is around 50K then for the build then this is the best CPU.

For this CPU I will recommend using GTX 1660 super or cheaper cards.

5) Intel i3 9100F

Intel’s last-generation Core i3 is also on this list, because its price is quite low, and considering its price it offers great gaming performance. So if you are looking for a great budget build in a low budget then the i3 9100f is for you. And i3 9100f is one of the best processors in terms of price to performance ratio under 15000.

It is a four-core four threads CPU with a base clock of 3.60 GHz and turbo up to 4.2 GHz. It has a cache of 6 MB has does not comes with any integrated graphics. But for a low-budget build, it can offer great value considering its price to performance ratio.

You can use it with 1650 super or GTX 1660 GPU to get the best gaming performance.

Conclusion:

These are the best processor under ₹ 15000 or $200 in 2020 for a Gaming PC. If you are looking for the best then at present Intel Core i3 10105 and Ryzen 3300X are the overall best CPUs for gaming under ₹ 15000.

With the Ryzen 3300X, you can use even the highest performing GPUs without worrying about bottlenecking. But since its highly unlikely that you will get Ryzen 3300X due to its stock issues, Intel Core i3 10105f is the best option.
