On Android or iPhones
Step 1: Open the Messenger app on your Phone.
Open Messenger app on your phone, if not already installed install it through Play Store or App Store. After installing it log in using your Facebook login info.
Step 2: In Messenger, Tap on the Settings icon
Depending on your smartphone platform position of icon might be different. It should be in the lower right corner for iPhone users and looks like a gear.
While for Android users its tap on the Profile picture in the upper left corner. Unless you are using Messenger lite for which its the gear symbol in the upper right corner.
Step 3: Tap on Message Requests
For Android users its direct just tap on Message requests. While for iPhone users tap on People and then tap on Message Requests.
Step 4: Tap on Spam or See filtered requests
The last and final step here is to tap on “Spam” or “See filtered requests”. Here you go you have seen the pending message requests for your account.
Only reply to those whom you personally know. The sender will not know that you have seen the message until you accept the message requests.
On desktop browsers
Open Facebook and then click on the message symbol in the upper right corner. This will open the messages menu on the upper side there is Message requests click on it.
In that menu click on See filtered messages, and this will open messages that Facebook has transferred into the Spam box.
